Both parties discussed the bilateral relations and areas of collaboration in the future.The delegates appreciated the academic development and great achievements realized by UOH ICT & Distance Learning Faculty.

 University of Hargeisa offers a wide range of study opportunities at different levels of your career. We offer a huge range of undergraduate studies.  If standard study options don’t apply to you, flexible study options may be more suitable.

These include Evening Study programmes designed to offer studying opportunities to mainly the working class although any interested person who meets the admission requirements can apply to be considered for admission and Distance learning or External study programmes designed to benefit those who merit University education but for some reason are unable to attend regular classes at the University.  

UOH currently produces about 70 graduates a year and they have generally been successful in securing jobs in either the public or private sector. Many employers have given them high marks for their professionalism and ethical conduct.  

 

 

What is news?

On May 03, 2008, the Faculty of Business Administration of the University started the mid-term examination of the second semester in the academic year 2007/2008, while the other faculties will start their exams on May 10, 2008

UoH- Students of Faculty of Economics & Business administration was organized a public lecture about “Somaliland Economics”, the students presented the Somaliland economic resources, the type of economy that we use, and the issues that need to be improved, the participants were raised many questions towards the government ministries & UCID party leader.
 

UOH students presented a research on student's opinion, satisfaction, and attitudes towards the university.

 
UOH Faculty of Medicine signs Memorandum of understanding with World Health Organization (WHO) an agreement is made on 15 April 2008.
 
World Health organization of Somaliland donated computer equipements & library books  to our Faculty of Medicine, WHO donated 30 Desktop computers, 1 laptop, and established a faculty of Medicine new library.
